How It Works

 N/A This Stopper uses a time-tested, steel cable operated switch mechanism that is activated when the cable is removed from the device. When the protected life ring is removed from its normal position, the device sounds a piercing 95 or 105 dB alarm. Immediate attention is drawn to the area and the prankster with either run before stealing the life ring or be caught. The highly visible stop sign design and "STOP - EMERGENCY USE ONLY" message on the unit’s faceplate serve as a deterrent itself. The sound of the alarm also helps draw attention to the area when a person is actually in need of the life ring. It is easy to install and all necessary screws, anchors and its 9 V DC battery power source are included.

 N/A In moderate to high noise, a sound level check should be done (monthly) to verify audibility in all areas the unit is to alert. End user must verify the alarm and battery function every six months and replace battery annually or as required.
